Best gateway for online hindi music

Last week I was searching for better site for online music as Dhingana.com and Raaga.com etc. MP3 streming sites are blocked in my office by sonic wall , while googling I came across a site http://www.phulki.com/ which has a google like Home page apperance which searches only hindi, tamil music online from other sites like http://www.bollyfm.com,www.mp3hungama.com/http://www.mp3hungama.com/music/index.php?action=album&id=3825.html, http://www.dhingana.com/rock-on/movie/songs/hindi/latest/4255.html etc. and lists out songs, which can be added to the lightweight player of the site itself . that player just streams the online music from source. You can manage the created playlist if you are signed up user of site. and not to forget this site is an Indian venture.

Date Format Backend function

Some days back I was wondering if dateformat is set at the application leval (e.g dd/MM/yyyy or MM/dd/yyyy) then how do I replicate that in the datagrid that I am showing on UI, I tried little bit of manipulation at UI leval but didn't worked out as expected, then I came up with this idea of having a scalar valued function at sql server. This function takes two parameters one is datetime and other is format and returns the formatted date.

CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[FormatDateTime]
(
@dt DATETIME,
@format VARCHAR(16)
)
RETURNS VARCHAR(64)
AS
BEGIN
DECLARE @dtVC VARCHAR(64)
SELECT @dtVC = CASE @format

WHEN 'MM/DD/YYYY' THEN
CONVERT(CHAR(10), @dt, 101)

WHEN 'DD/MM/YYYY' THEN

CONVERT(CHAR(10), @dt, 103)

WHEN 'dd/MM/yyyy HH:MM' THEN

CONVERT(CHAR(8), @dt, 3) + ' ' +
LTRIM(SUBSTRING(CONVERT(
VARCHAR(20), @dt, 22), 10, 5)
+ RIGHT(CONVERT(VARCHAR(20), @dt, 22), 3))

WHEN 'MM/dd/yyyy HH:MM' THEN

CONVERT(CHAR(10), @dt, 101) + ' ' +
LTRIM(SUBSTRING(CONVERT(
VARCHAR(20), @dt, 22), 10, 5)
+ RIGHT(CONVERT(VARCHAR(20), @dt, 22), 3))

ELSE

'Invalid format specified'

END

if @dtVC ='01/01/1900'
Begin
set @dtVC=''
end

if @dtVc='01/01/00 12:00 AM'
begin
set @dtVc=''
end

if @dtVc='01/01/1900 12:00 AM'
begin
set @dtVc=''
end
RETURN @dtVC
END

The 3 Mistakes Of My Life

New book by Chetan Bhagat launched in May and as usual became a BestSeller in few weeks, I purchased this book from rediff.com and finished within this weekend. This time Chetan chose Cricket as a medium to connect with the Indian youth, and I believe he is succeeded in touching the nerves of the youth once again, yet this book cant beat charisma cretaed by Five Point Someone.
Story belongs to three friends from Ahmedabad. Govind,Ish and Omi, each one has got a different character of their own. Govind is Business oriented guy who always thinks professionally and matehmatically, Ish is Die hard Cricket Lover and Omi is priest's son but dont want to be one. Three of them decides to start a business which they will interesting so they decide to open a A Sports Accessories Shop. And the story floats through How they survive the events like Gujrat Earthquake, 9/11 attack and Godhra Hatyakand.
The plot of the book is superb and Govind is a story-teller, also there is a love story between Govind and Ish's sister Vidya to whom Govind teaches Maths. There are 2 more importat characters in the story one is Ali who is 12 year old boy who has got a god gifted talent of instant reflexes and second character is Omi's Mama who aspires to be Political figure.
Climax of the book is totally filmy yet thrilling. This Book is a perfect mixture of Business,Cricket,Religion and todays youth with a blend of love story, so dont wonder if you find a Bollywood movie being made based on this book in coming months.

One Night At The Call Center

Reading the book ON@TCC provided an outrageous amount of entertainment. This book is based on six characters working in a call center named "Connexions" at Gurgaon and their one night on a thanksgiving day. All the six characters provide a solid base to the story yet there are only 4 characters who lift up this story Shyam(Sam),Varoon(Vroom,Victor),Priyanka and Esha.Love story of Shyam and Priyanka is placed in terms of FlashBack and really is the backbone of the story, Vroom is the strongest character through out the story, who is typical 22 year old teen from India. All of the characters are facing problems in their personal life and over to that an Idiot and sefish boss in the office. And that night is the melting point of their personal as well as professional life.Language of this book is typical Indian style and you can find words starting from f*** frequently , each of the character dont hesitate to use that word except Millitry uncle. Reading this book will easily provide an insight of an indian Call Center, ON@TCC has a really typical bollywood filmy plot, the climax is also very dramatic and to my opinion this book can be easily adopted as a masala mix bollywood movie.

Mumbai Darshan with ORAMA 4D Show

Do u think mumbai only represent crowded place?
Do u think mumbai only represent traffic?
Then to come out of this shell u must try Mumbai Darshan tour arranged by lot of travel agencies in mumbai. Yesterday I got chance to visit mumbai. I had gone to my cousin brothers place in Dahisar on saturday, my mother and father were enforcing me to come with them for Mumbai Darshan Tour, But I was having other plans(watching India-Aussies first final). but then when the ticket was booked for Mumbai Darshan and I had to go. I had seen some of the places before but the guide was giving such a nice info abt each place that your angle of watching towards that place changes
The places to remember were
1. Nehru Science centre

2.Mahalaxmi temple

3.Atria shopping mall

4. Nariman Point

After watching lots of places we reached at atria shopping mall at worli at around 4.15 pm and the 4d show was on 5.00 pm so I got 45 minutes to see the match and what a lucky person I was I got LCD tv and a chair at Atria Shopping mall, I got to see sachins century and then never expected india winning the match by 6 wickets exactly at 5 pm the 4d show was started
My movie Name was The Haunted house ok let me explain u first what is 4d , 4d is 4 dimensional movie , everyone has seen 3d movies one dimesion is added to it i.e sense----- your seets will move in 4 directions + Water will get sprikled + Rats are running under ur chair and the list goes on ok we will talk abt the movie
The movie gives u a walk through experience. As for Haunted house the theme is that the spectator is entering the house through a tree branch. As you climb and different tree angles you chair starts to shake. It’s thrilling at start but becomes cumbersome as you are more worried about balance than the movie. As you enter the castle there are scenes of bats flying out in numbers. As they fly out you are hit by strong cooled air. Again when you walk on the floor there is a scene of rats running through you which is complimented by strong air hitting your feet from beneath your seats and it really hurts. Cool air hitting your face, legs neck, throwing of artificial bubbles, rocking chair all make for good excitement. But as you get in the movie it ends. The show ends at 5.20 so in actuality the show is only 20minutes. For conclusions I will urge all of you to do visit this place . Also please take the funk seats as you get more excitement and also save some money for the snacks.
After completing this show we headed to Juhu beach and Iskon temple at this point I was little tired bcoz of complete day-out but Iskon temple is really nice place to visit I got only 10 minutes to spend at Juhu Beach.
At the end of the day Mumbai Darshan Trip ended in a good note...

extern alias namespace in C#

1) You have 2 referance dll's DAL1 and DAL2
2)Both Carry a same namespace DAL and a class Customers and one method GetNames
3)Now both thease DAL's are referanced in in one application and you want to access both the methods seperately what you will do??

Ok, there is a solution
called as extern alias namespace

Key : After giving referance right click the referred dll and go to properties there you can see on property Aliases, give two different aliases for DAL1 and DAL2

and see below

now u see two namespaces cls1 and cls2 are defined using aliases, now you are ready to use both the methods from same namespace and same Classname.
